In this tutorial I'll show you how to set up email forwarders with SiteGround. There are multiple reasons you might use an email forwarder.
If you run a website on your own and you want to have multiple email addresses like [email protected], [email protected], [email protected] but you mostly like to use a personalised email like [email protected] then setting up email forwarding can help. Instead of creating a new email account for each of those addresses that you want to use, you can create an email forwarder and have any emails sent to those addresses to be redirected to your [email protected] email address.
This allows you to check all emails sent to all those addresses in the one inbox, [email protected]
If a staff member goes away on holidays for awhile but you need all their emails to be processed while they are gone, you could set up a temporary email forwarder to redirect their emails to another email address.
